LBL Relief Ace Weareorwear Named Best Hurler Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 "The kid had it all working last month," a veteran teammate told reporters. "He keeps up those kind of numbers, we might have to start inviting him out with us after the games." Ed Weareorwear put together a very solid month to take home the Lester B. Person League's top pitching honor in April. The 19-year-old reliever threw like a veteran. In 14 relief appearances he raked in no saves and 32 strikeouts in 28.2 innings as he put together his 7-0 record and 4.08 ERA. This season Weareorwear has accumulated no saves, registered a 5.53 ERA and struck out 61 in 53.2 innings. He also has a 10-0 record in 29 relief appearances. |
