Saints Zhu and Legends Levasseur Suspended for Fight Friday, March 22nd, 2024 You would have thought you were at a hockey game yesterday at Blue Wings Ballpark. A free-for-all broke out when Li-xue Zhu of Trois-Rivieres and Georges Levasseur of Saskatoon rushed one another on the field and had to be restrained by umpires and teammates. Few blows landed, but it was enough for them to be ejected from the game. Today both teams received notification from the league office that the two players would be suspended for 9 games. In the 2024 season Zhu is hitting .271 with 3 home runs. This season Levasseur has been credited with no saves. In 11 relief appearances and 10 innings he has a 0-0 won-lost mark, a 6.30 ERA and 15 strikeouts. |
