Ernst Nolan Captures LBL Award Monday, April 3rd, 2023 19-year-old Ernst Nolan made a few Niagara headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Lester B. Person League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 11 hits in 22 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Nolan collected 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and scored 7 runs. For the season, Nolan is hitting at a .364 clip with 9 home runs, 23 RBIs and has scored 26 runs. He has 40 hits, 19 walks and a .474 on-base percentage. |
