Monarchs Pilgrim Fires No-Hitter Friday, March 10th, 2023 It was a fantastic day for Vic Pilgrim of the London Monarchs and a lousy day for the Trois-Rivieres Saints. His pitching artistry completely befuddled and bewildered them in the 9-0 win. When it was over he was credited with one of the rarer feats in baseball -- a no-hitter. "The ball was moving and darting, and best of all, going where I wanted it to go." Pilgrim rang up 14 strikeouts and allowed 2 walks while shutting Trois-Rivieres down at Hatchets Ballpark. |
