Hollett Chooses Soccer Over Baseball Thursday, September 15th, 2022 Montreal multi-sport star Matt Hollett has decided to discontinue his baseball career and focus full-time on his soccer career. Despite his love of baseball, Hollett says he likes his prospects on the pitch better than facing pitches on the diamond. "It was a tough decision, but I think this is the right one for me," said the Royales starting pitcher. Hollett has offers from several international clubs and is also considering making himself eligible for the MLS draft. |
