Star of the Week Named in LBL Monday, May 9th, 2022 His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Wayne Lewis was rewarded with the Lester B. Person League Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Saskatoon Legends catcher hit .500 while collecting 12 hits in 24 at-bats, 3 home runs and 8 RBIs. So far this season Lewis is hitting .307 with 19 home runs, 55 RBIs and 43 runs scored. He has 61 hits in 199 at-bats and a .403 OBP. |
