Khu Raps Trois-Rivieres for 5 Hits Saturday, April 23rd, 2022 It was high-5 day at Drummondville College Grounds, at least for Min Khu of the Niagara Stars. He got a lot of high-5's for his outstanding hitting against the Trois-Rivieres Saints, but he and his teammates couldn't pull out a win. Khu smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on a his record-setting day, but Niagara still dropped the game 11-8. His manager said, "Min was hitting everything. It really was a special game for him. Too bad the other guys couldn't rise to the occasion and get the victory." In the other dugout the opposing manager told BNN writers, "Khu bushwhacked my boys today. Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but luckily, we won the ballgame." Min Khu singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, was hit by a pitch in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This season Khu is hitting at a .322 pace with 3 home runs, 39 RBIs and has scored 37 times. |
