Manager Tommy Hayes Forced out in Trois-Rivieres Saturday, April 16th, 2022 Trois-Rivieres has fired manager Tommy Hayes. "We were not doing the things you've got to do every day," the Saints general manager told reporters. "We saw that things were not going to change. We had huge expectations coming into the season and we did not live up to them." The current coaching staff will be assigned to run the ballclub in the interim until a new manager can be hired. Hayes was told of his dismissal yesterday morning and was not available for comment. The Trois-Rivieres spokesman called it a "sensitive and emotional" meeting with Hayes -- too sensitive to bring up whether Hayes would be offered another job in the Saints system. |
