Robinson Batters Calgary for 5 Hits Tuesday, March 22nd, 2022 Who needs batting practice? Vincent Robinson of London apparently doesn't as he peppered Calgary with a 5-hit outburst in today's game. He got the hits, but lost the game. The Outlaws pulled out a 6-5 win. He told the press after the game, "And I didn't even take BP today. I think I have been taking too many swings before game and decided to take a day off. This was really something... a 5 for 5 day... will my name be in the record books now?" One of his teammates hollered out, "No, only if your team wins the game!" Vincent Robinson singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This year Robinson is batting .413 with 3 home runs. He has scored 13 runs and driven in 8. |
