5-5 Game for Frank Sunday, May 9th, 2021 Today the Stars downed the Capitals 17-9 as Cornell Frank sprayed hits all over Ballpark of Chilliwack College in a 5-hit explosion, finishing with 5 hits in 5 at-bats. The Niagara third baseman said to reporters in the postgame interview, "It makes it easier if you get a good pitch. The odds are in your favor then, not the pitcher's. I got a bunch of very pretty pitches to hit today and I didn't miss any of them." Cornell Frank singled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Carlos Bravo in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. Thus far this year Frank has hit .323 with 19 home runs and 63 RBIs. |
