Saints Petit Named LBL's #1 Player Monday, April 19th, 2021 Lester B. Person League pitchers tried and tried all week long to stop Jean-Claude Petit, but to no avail. His eyes would light up when he came to the plate and he hit everything in sight, batting .441 for the week to win the LBL Player of the Week Award. The Trois-Rivieres second baseman cracked 15 hits in 34 at-bats, 5 home runs, drove in 13 runs and scored 11 times. Petit is presently hitting at a .373 pace with 13 home runs, 44 RBIs and has scored 47 times. |
