Warner Misbehaves, Suspended 4 Games Sunday, May 4th, 2025 California will not have the services of shortstop Richard Warner for several days. The league commissioner has suspended him for 4 games for arguing a third strike call. The altercation occurred in yesterday's contest with the Florida State Seminoles and involved the home plate umpire. Riled up by being called out, Warner slightly shoved him after he was ejected. In baseball it is taboo to touch an umpire. This season Warner is hitting .264 with 6 home runs. |
