Davis Sizzles -- Smokes Ducks for 5 Hits Friday, April 25th, 2025 "It was almost like batting practice. I saw the ball very well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted." That's what Mississippi State second baseman George Davis said to BNN reporters after his fantastic 5-for-6 day against the Oregon Ducks at Crunch Ballpark. "I got some good counts and used the whole field." The Bulldogs had a good day, too, and won the ballgame 10-8. George Davis singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th, struck out in the 9th and walked in the 12th. Davis on the season is hitting .385 with 8 home runs. His stats include 35 RBIs and 44 runs scored. |
