Baylor Snaps Garner's Streak at 20 Friday, April 25th, 2025 Jayson Garner's 20-game hitting streak was snapped today at Ballpark of Shiprock College. The 19-year-old Bruins third baseman failed to get a hit in 4 at-bats in the game with the Baylor Bears, but UCLA came out the winner, topping them 11-4. One of his teammates told BNN, "The streak was no big deal to Jayson. He ain't that type of guy. He just wants to help the team win ballgames. That's the bottom line." Garner is hitting .293 in 2025 with 21 RBIs and 3 home runs. |
