Streak Finally Over, Flores Held Hitless Thursday, April 24th, 2025 Rice brought Ángel Flores's hitting spree to a screeching halt today in its 11-2 victory over Washington State at Toughkenamon College Fields. The Owls mound staff snapped the 19-year-old third baseman's hitting streak at 33 games. Flores failed to get a hit in 4 at-bats to end it. During the current season Flores is batting at a .406 clip with 6 home runs and 25 RBIs. He has played in 34 games and scored 34 times. |
