Gamecocks RP Smith Out Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025 Medical officials from the South Carolina Gamecocks reported that the club's 20-year-old reliever, Brian Smith, suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament in yesterday's matchup against the Auburn Tigers while throwing a pitch. Smith is expected to miss 16 months of action. This year Smith has 1 save in 23 relief appearances with a 2-2 record and 5.19 ERA. |
