Ronald Evans out of Lineup 8 Months Sunday, April 20th, 2025 Ronald Evans at first refused to leave today's Michigan-Indiana State game after he suffered a broken bone in the elbow while running the bases. But his manager convinced him not to be foolish. "I want to be on the field," the feisty Indiana State first baseman said. "I'll play through just about anything." Given time to reflect on the situation, he knew it was in his best interest to get immediate treatment. The injury is expected to keep Evans out of action for 8 months. Thus far this season Evans is hitting .234 with 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and 9 runs scored. He has 18 hits in 77 at-bats and has played in 26 games. |
