No Playoff Berth Coming for Indiana State Sunday, April 20th, 2025 It's a better luck next year situation for the Indiana State Sycamores, as the club today became mathematically eliminated from postseason consideration. The team's manager said it's always a let down to not make the playoffs, but he's proud of his team's effort. Indiana State last appeared in the postseason in 2016. This is their 9th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 11 times in their 13-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Sycamores have missed the playoffs 8 times. Indiana State has won the NCAA College World Series 2 times in their history. |
