Alexander Rips 3 HR Saturday, April 19th, 2025 Today was a special one for Kieran Alexander of the Virginia Cavaliers as he slammed three home runs in the 15-4 win over the Wake Forest Demon Deacans. "Lately, I been uppercutting the ball too much. I would hit it hard, but they just went sky high and stayed in the ballpark," he said to sportswriters after the game. "No big long outs for me in this game. I leveled out my swing and connected on the sweet spot three times. I knew they were gone the minute I hit 'em." The Virginia center fielder had quite a game at Cypress Quarters College Grounds as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats, drove in 6, and scored 3 runs. Kieran Alexander hit a two-run home run off Carl Cantrell in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI triple in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Walt Brown in the 6th, struck out in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Tony Forbes in the 9th. Currently Alexander has 22 home runs and a .338 batting average. |
