Garza Sidelined for 6-7 Months Friday, April 18th, 2025 The Ragin Cajuns will be minus Tomás Garza for about 6-7 months after the catcher suffered a broken kneecap while being hit by a pitch in a recent game against Baylor. Garza and the Louisiana-Layfayette skipper were hoping further examination might show there was less damage than originally thought and he would be absent a shorter duration. This season Garza has delivered 37 hits in 138 at-bats for a .268 average with 12 home runs. He is getting on base at a .378 clip and his totals also include 21 RBIs and 27 runs scored. This year Garza has played in 37 games. |
