Wilber Matthews Hurt, Out of Action Wednesday, April 16th, 2025 Wilber Matthews of the Rice Owls could be headed for the disabled list after suffering a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament in a game against the Arizona State Sun Devils. He is expected to miss at least 13-14 months. The Rice starting pitcher was injured throwing a pitch. So far this season Matthews has 3 wins and 2 losses and a 3.71 ERA. |
