Bad News for UCLA, Woodward Injured Monday, April 14th, 2025 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Bruins when after today's game against the Bulldogs, the club found out they would be without the services of Earl Woodward for at least 5 months. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Woodward was injured earlier today throwing a pitch and suffered a torn back muscle. To date this year Woodward has fashioned a 4.85 ERA over 26 innings with a 0-0 record. He has made 19 relief appearances with 30 strikeouts and no saves. |
