Super Swinger -- Smith Slams 5 Hits Monday, April 14th, 2025 5 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. Texas A&M's Reginald Smith had a very special day against the Wildcats when everything came together for him and he did just that -- collected 5 hits in 7 at-bats -- and led the Texas A&M Aggies to a 19-8 win at Red Wings Ballpark. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Smith said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Reginald Smith singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. This season in 36 games Smith is batting .255 with 2 home runs, 19 RBIs and has scored 15 times. |
