James Smacks 3 Out of the Park Friday, April 4th, 2025 Jim James of Arizona was on fire with three home runs in the 21-5 win over LSU at Red Wings Ballpark. "The first two I got all of them and it was no doubt they were gone. The last one I got lucky. It seemed like the wind helped it a little. Old Mother Nature helped me get into the record books." For the game James was 3 for 3 with 7 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Jim James hit a GRAND SLAM off Mike Calhoun in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, was hit by a pitch in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Doug Shields in the 5th, walked in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 8th. Batting .359 to date, James has 11 home runs and 32 RBIs. |
