López Tags Tigers for 5 Hits Monday, March 10th, 2025 Who needs batting practice? Carlos López of Ole Miss apparently doesn't as he battered LSU with a 5-hit outburst in today's game to lead his club to a 14-13 win. He told the press after the game, "And I didn't even take BP today. I think I have been taking too many swings before game and decided to take a day off. Wow, this was really something... a 5 for 5 day... will my name be in the record books now?" Carlos López singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, tripled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, walked in the 7th, walked in the 9th and singled in the 11th. To date this season López is hitting .414 with 5 home runs. |
