Longhorns Davis Smacks 5 Hits Wednesday, March 5th, 2025 It was a good day all around. Texas whipped UCLA 10-5 and Seth Davis displayed a hot bat, enjoying an outstanding 5-hit day at Ballpark of Celebration College. "Some days, lady luck is on your side," he modestly told BNN reporters after the game. His manager told the beat writers otherwise, "His hitting wasn't luck today. It's his solid approach to hitting. Seth is focused, patient and he hits to all fields. The more solid at-bats you put together, the more success you're going to have." The 19-year-old catcher for the Longhorns collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats to get his name in the record book. Seth Davis singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. |
