SBL Awards Outstanding Pitcher Trophy Thursday, May 16th, 2024 He's in the early phase of his career, but this past season Elias Bowen performed like a veteran on the hill for the Oklahoma State Cowboys and walked away with the Skip Bertman League Cy Young Award in the process. The 21-year-old Cowboys star fashioned a 4-1 won-loss record in 2024 with a 1.58 ERA. In 57 innings of work and 11 starts, Bowen struck out 87 while giving up 37 hits and 17 walks. He held opposing batters to a .184 average. Paul Johnston of the Florida Gators finished second in voting, while Dylan Wilson of the Oklahoma State Cowboys finished third. |
