Free-for-All Costs Ledezma and Oliver 8-Game Suspensions Friday, April 26th, 2024 Mississippi State's Ramón Ledezma and Texas's Larry Oliver have been handed 8-game suspensions for their parts in yesterday's upheaval at Crowley College Grounds. The teams were notified today that the suspensions would go into effect immediately. According to the league commissioner Ledezma and Oliver provoked and incited the brawl and bore the blame for what transpired. Ledezma is currently hitting at a .281 pace with 7 home runs and 17 RBIs. Oliver has taken the mound for 16 relief appearances this season, nailing down 1 save while notching a 3-1 record with a 7.65 ERA. The Texas reliever has limited opposing batters to a .309 batting average. |
