Javier Blanco out of Lineup 10-11 Months Friday, April 26th, 2024 Disappointing news today for Georgia Bulldogs fans. Javier Blanco was hurt throwing a pitch in their game against the Oklahoma State Cowboys and has a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Team trainers were hesitant to predict a date for return but said it was likely the injury will keep the reliever out at least 10-11 months. This year Blanco has no saves, totaled 37 innings, allowed 32 base hits and fashioned a 4.62 ERA while racking up 45 strikeouts and a record of 1 win and 2 losses. |
