Ole Miss Narrowly Wins Cliff Gustafson Wednesday, April 24th, 2024 The owner of the Ole Miss Rebels was front and center in the Ole Miss Rebels clubhouse tonight. With the team having just clinched the Cliff Gustafson, the owner came down to personally congratulate his players on the honor. "I know how hard they work every day for us, so it's hats-off to them," he said. "I know many owners probably prefer to stay up away from things, but I'm happy to celebrate this with these guys." Right Fielder Carlos López said after the franchise's 1st division title, he hopes they soon give the team's owner much more to celebrate. "We want to bring a championship back to Ole Miss. The city and our fans deserve it," he said. A NCAA College World Series win would be the team's 1st USA NCAA DIVISION I championship. |
