5-for-5 Day for Vance Wednesday, April 17th, 2024 5 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. Oklahoma State's Ernest Vance had a very special day against the Razorbacks when everything came together for him and he did just that -- collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Oklahoma State Cowboys to a 8-3 win at Canaries Ballpark. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Vance said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Ernest Vance singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. Vance has a .389 average and a .449 on-base percentage for the year.
