Thomas Sidelined for 11-12 Months Monday, April 15th, 2024 "I'm frustrated right now," said Baylor reliever Bill Thomas. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Bears, that's where he will be spending 11-12 months. Thomas suffered a ruptured disc in today's game against Houston while throwing a pitch. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be." For the season his stats show Thomas has no saves in 9 relief appearances with a 0-0 record and 8.74 ERA. |
