Tulane's Simpson Down with Injury Friday, April 12th, 2024 After the end of today's game between Tulane and Washington State, Timothy Simpson skipped the clubhouse and headed straight for the doctor's office. After he was removed from the game as a precaution after running the bases, the Green Wave had their worst fears confirmed when it turned out to be more serious. The third baseman will miss at least 4-5 months with a torn abdominal muscle. Currently Simpson is batting .259 with 5 home runs and 14 RBIs. |
