Braun Sensational, 5-for-5 Thursday, April 4th, 2024 USC right fielder Dave Braun could do no wrong in today's 9-4 win over the Bulldogs as he collected 5 hits. "In every one of his at-bats things were in his favor... he got hitter's counts," the skipper of the Bulldogs said to the press corps after the game. Braun agreed. "The key is getting ahead. Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit. You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready." Dave Braun hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Richard Colbert in the 8th. In 27 games this year Braun has posted a .355 average and put up these numbers: 11 home runs, 35 RBIs and 22 runs scored. |
