March's SBL Top Pitcher is Demon Deacans Shafer Monday, April 1st, 2024 In March, Carlton Shafer tore through the Skip Bertman League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 21 years old. The young Wake Forest starter posted a 4-0 mark and an ERA of 1.23 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 29.1 innings he collected 35 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .194 average. |
