Gibson Punishes SBL Pitchers This Week Monday, March 25th, 2024 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Skip Bertman League, but last week Robert Gibson of the Arkansas Razorbacks reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Gibson rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (16-for-32), 2 home runs and 6 RBIs to come away with the award. Gibson is batting .375 this season in 19 games with 3 home runs, 14 RBIs and 13 runs scored. He has 30 hits in 80 at-bats. |
