5-for-5 Game for Swinney Tuesday, March 12th, 2024 5 hits in 5 at-bats. It doesn't happen every day, and when it does, it's exciting. Today Eric Swinney of the Cal State Fullerton Titans had a sensational game against Ole Miss at Hartford College Grounds. He rifled base hits all over the ballpark in his team's 14-10 shellacking of the Rebels. In the postgame press conference he joked, "Heck, that's a week's worth of hitting for me and I did ,it all in one day. I guess I can take the rest of the week off. Right, skipper?" Eric Swinney singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Michael Parker in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, walked in the 8th, singled in the 10th and walked in the 12th. Currently Swinney is batting .514 with 1 home run, 7 RBIs and 10 runs scored. |
