Dennis Sanderson out of Lineup 6 Months Wednesday, April 19th, 2023 Watching Dennis Sanderson getting helped off the field today at Brutes Ballpark, fans of the Arkansas Razorbacks feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the reliever will miss 6 months with shoulder inflammation. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Sanderson suffered the injury throwing a pitch in the game against the Jayhawks. So far this year Sanderson has delivered no saves. In 19 relief appearances he has 26 strikeouts in 20 innings with a 8.55 ERA and 2 wins and no losses. |
