Knight Cracks 5 Hits Sunday, April 2nd, 2023 It was a parade of hits for Reese Knight of the UCLA Bruins, one right after another. He ravaged the LSU Tigers for 5 hits in his 5 at-bats. But the Tigers rose to the occasion and rained on his parade with a 9-8 win. "Knight was really good ... we were just a little better," said the Tigers manager in the postgame interview. "It's all right with me if he gets 5 hits every game against us, if we win." Reese Knight singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and singled in the 10th. Knight is hitting .276 in 2023 with 20 RBIs and 4 home runs. |
