RDL Announces #1 Batter Award Sunday, May 22nd, 2022 Desmond Waters of the Tulane Green Wave proved that you can step out of the shadows and onto the stage if you've got the talent and the drive to hone your skills. Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the Rod Dedeaux League Silver Slugger Award. Waters hit for a .332 average while collecting 63 hits, 7 doubles, no triples, 23 home runs, 49 RBIs and scoring 46 times.Mark Rigden of the Long Beach State 49'ers finished second in voting, while Eric Swinney of the Cal State Fullerton Titans finished third. |
