Skipper Hall Cut by Yellow Jackets Tuesday, May 10th, 2022 It was supposed to be just another day at the ballpark, but it didn't turn out that way for Thomas Hall. In a meeting with the Georgia Tech owner and general manager Hall found out he was being let go. After today's meeting the front office staff announced Hall's firing. They declined to comment on who his successor might be, saying only that it would done quickly. "Thomas Hall is a good baseball man and classy individual, but we don't think he's the best person to lead this ballclub at this time," said the Yellow Jackets general manager. "We wish him all the best in the future." Hall, whose in-game decisions have drawn a lot of criticism from local media of late, left the ballpark immediately after the meeting and could not be reached for comment. |
