Yellow Jackets C Torres Out Friday, April 22nd, 2022 The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets learned that Juan Jose Torres is likely to be out for 4 months after he injured himself running the bases in today's game against the South Carolina Gamecocks. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a strained hip muscle. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Georgia Tech manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Juan Jose is back in action." So far this year Torres is batting .256 with 3 home runs, 15 RBIs and 15 runs scored. |
