Bowen Sensational, 15 Ks Thursday, April 7th, 2022 Elias Bowen of the Oklahoma State Cowboys really put on a pitching clinic today at Bruisers Ballpark as he struck out 15 North Carolina Tar Heels in a 8-6 victory. Bowen, who leads the SBL in K/9 with 16.4, was simply magnificent as he held the Tar Heels to 31 hits. He walked 15. "My fastball was okay," Bowen said, "but my breaking stuff really hurt them. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Bowen's performance, the Cowboys manager shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was pretty good out there today. He was dominating today." In 7 starts this season Bowen has compiled a 2-4 record and a 4.42 ERA. |
