Miami's Roach to Miss 7 Months Monday, April 4th, 2022 "I'm frustrated right now," said Miami starting pitcher Scott Roach. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Hurricanes, that's where he will be spending 7 months. Roach suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament in today's game against Iowa State while throwing a pitch. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be." This season Roach has compiled a 1-2 record with a 4.65 ERA. |
