Hit Streak Now at 20 for Shepherd Friday, March 18th, 2022 At Ramparts Ballpark today Arkansas second baseman Kevin Shepherd stretched his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 2 hits against the Wake Forest Demon Deacans. However, the Razorbacks came up short on the scoreboard and lost the game 16-12. Kevin Shepherd hit an RBI single in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Pat Price in the 5th, walked in the 6th, walked in the 8th and flied out in the 9th. This season Shepherd is batting .408 with 20 hits, 9 home runs, 20 RBIs, .483 OBP and has scored 16 runs. |
