Duccio Clobbers 3 HR Against Cougars Thursday, April 22nd, 2021 Ennio Duccio was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the Fresno State 11-0 triumph over Washington State, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands. Nobody who was at Brooks College Grounds will forget this home run outburst anytime soon. The Fresno State first baseman went 3-3, rung up 5 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day. He told the press corps after his three home run binge, "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight. I can't wait until tomorrow's game. I really feel good at the plate." Ennio Duccio hit a two-run home run off Brett Beck in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Brett Beck in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Justin Aldridge in the 5th and walked in the 7th. Thus far this season in 47 games Duccio is batting .341 with 18 home runs, 43 RBIs and 40 runs scored. He has 60 hits in 176 at-bats. |
