Moreno Belts Bunch of Base Hits Friday, April 16th, 2021 Pedro Moreno really sizzled at the plate today. In a game played at Dingoes Ballpark, the TCU left fielder blistered the Louisiana-Layfayette Ragin Cajuns for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace his club to a 11-6 victory. "Moreno was too tough to get out today," the Ragin Cajuns skipper said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Pedro Moreno struck out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. Moreno is currently batting .289 with 5 home runs and 16 RBIs. |
