Best Starter Chosen by August Herrman League Wednesday, October 1st, 2025 There's something about a young rookie winning the August Herrman League Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Marcos Marino, a 23-year-old starter for the Westside Road Warriors. In September, he topped off the month with a 4-1 mark and 1.86 ERA in 9 starts, tossed 53.1 innings, fanned 53 and held opposing teams to a .189 average. For the season Marino has compiled a 12-9 record with a 3.95 ERA. |
