O Clobbers 3 HR Against Blue Claws Wednesday, September 17th, 2025 Fireworks exploded with regularity in the Knights-Blue Claws game, but it wasn't a match that set them off -- it was the bat of Hyo-sang O. He belted 3 home runs in an awesome display of sheer power. In the 14-5 Kingwood victory O stunned the Blue Claws pitching staff for 5 hits in 5 at-bats and knocked in 7 runs. After the game, O said simply, "I saw everything they threw at me. Hitting was a piece of cake today... with lots of extra icing on it." Hyo-sang O hit a two-run home run off Koichi Takahashi in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Koichi Takahashi in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Koichi Takahashi in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 7th and singled in the 8th. This year O has batted at a .316 pace with 117 hits, 26 home runs, 98 RBIs and scored 89 times. |
