Knights Lose Reynaldo Yánez Saturday, September 13th, 2025 The Kingwood Knights will have to make do without Reynaldo Yánez for 4 months. He suffered radial nerve compression while throwing a pitch in the game today against the Eugene Emeralds. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the reliever. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." Yánez has earned no saves and a 3-0 mark this season with a 1.91 earned run average in 33 relief appearances. He has worked 37.2 innings, yielded 25 hits, struck out 59 batters and walked 15. |
